Job Description:

AXIS audiologists provide top quality, school-based telehealth services to K-12 students nationwide. AXIS prides itself on our team of excellence- it’s our experienced, valuable teletherapists that help AXIS students achieve the success they deserve!

• Conduct a thorough assessment and diagnosis of hearing impairments.
• Plan, design, implement, monitor, and evaluate school-based therapeutic and instructional interventions for students.
• Work directly with teachers, IEP team members and other school personnel to assist in the implementation of instruction of IEP goals and objectives.
• Provide screening to identify hearing-impaired children at regular intervals and at specified levels.
• Provide appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual students’ needs and correct existing hearing impairments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy and assistive technology through suggestions for the student’s daily activities.
• Keep thorough ongoing records for the individual student receiving therapy or other school-provided hearing services.
• Knowledge of the assistive technology to assist students with learning
• Participate and develop IEPs or 504 Plans for hearing impaired student

Job Requirements:

• Pennsylvania licensed Audiologist 
• Minimum 2 years school-based experience
• Services provided M-F; 8am-6pm EST
