Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and generate metrics related to awarded contracts and task orders, ensuring data integrity and providing insights for decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and update approved contract templates.
- Create and maintain contract information tracking in database and spreadsheets.
- Manage new vendor process and coordinate with finance for system activation.
- Assist in drafting standard operating procedures, processes, and other documentation.
- Prepare and finalize vendor agreements.
- Organize and prepare documentation for contract/task order kickoffs.
- Provide support to the corporate contracts unit and other internal groups to ensure compliance with company policy, procedures, and controls.
- Assist with project set up process and saving folders in SharePoint / Contracts Drive / MS Dynamics.
- Manage contract management tools and create new tools leading to effective automation.
- Monitor vendor performance and deliverables.
- Prepare cost proposal for new opportunities in collaboration with Business Development.
- Perform contract closeout.
- Assist Contracts team with other contract tasks.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent administrative experience
- 3-5 years minimum contracts management experience
Desired Skills:
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel mandatory) and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of US Federal Government contract terms and conditions.
- Organized with excellent follow up skills, ability to think creatively, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal/external clients.
