Overview
Axle is looking to add a driven, flexible, organized, and meticulous Data Manager to our dynamic team. The Contractor(s) shall provide services in support of the overall functions of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Division of Extramural Activity (DEA), Grants Management Program (GMP).
Technical Requirements:

Provide technical expertise, and consulting services to the GMP Director and GMP Deputy Director regarding funding of NIAID grant applications.

Research and analyze NIAID application and grant award data from a variety of systems, including IMPAC II, RePORTER, WOMBAT.

Provide guidance on developing a clearly defined organizational strategy and approach for how data is used in data-driven decision making, analytics, and improvement of NIAID processes.

Collect, analyze, and summarize NIAID application and grants data and present recommendations to the GMP Director and GMP Deputy Director.

Create and maintain data spreadsheets and reports.

Manage data storage and data backup.

Create summary documentation, training materials, or PowerPoint presentations regarding grants management activities.

Analyze and evaluate, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals and objectives; and analyze and integrate program financial, technical, and other information.
Specific Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience is required.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
