As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with law enforcement agencies and public safety organizations, helping them leverage cutting-edge software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex challenges into actionable solutions, ensuring our clients realize the full potential of Axon’s innovative technologies. What You’ll Do
Location: US based Axon hub sites (Atlanta, Boston, Denver, Scottsdale, Seattle, or Sterling metro areas)
Travel: Up to 20%
Reports To: Manager, Business Analysis
- Work as a key member of the Software Services Team to support customer implementations.
- Business Documentation: Capture and translate customer needs into clear and concise business process documentation, including user stories, workflows, and functional requirements.
- Discovery: Analyze complex business challenges, providing clarity and structure where ambiguity exists, while working closely with Program Managers, Solution Architects, and Product teams to design and deliver impactful solutions.
- Configurations: Partner with customers to configure software systems tailored to their business objectives.
- Solution Evaluation: Assess feasibility, impact, and cost of proposed solutions, including change management considerations, to ensure successful implementation.
- Decision Making: Apply outcome-driven thinking to make strategic trade-off assessments that optimize results for customers and stakeholders.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Design, administer, and document functional acceptance tests to validate software performance and usability.
- Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training plans and materials to empower both internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate across departments to drive company-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment and maximizing value delivery.
What You Bring
- Project Management Expertise: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
- Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Experience gathering requirements, optimizing workflows, and facilitating change management within teams.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software configurations and coding experience (particularly JSON) preferred.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience leading initiatives and working cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive, solution-oriented thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can break down complex problems.
