Your Impact
Digital Evidence Management Systems are key to officer efficiency and Axon’s mobile applications, View and Capture, play critical roles in evidence acquisition. Axon View interacts with body-worn cameras to display live camera streams, or to view and tag previously-collected evidence. Axon Capture collects digital evidence (photos, videos, audio) and uploads to evidence.com for later processing.
As a mobile developer on our team, you will collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to build a hybrid application that utilizes technologies such as ReactJS, Swift, and Java. Your work will enable code to be written once and reused across multiple platforms. You will also ensure that our codebase is performant and meets the highest data privacy standards.
As a Senior-level engineering
You have years of experience working with web technologies and possess strong knowledge of ReactJS, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs. You also have experience with mobile web development and responsive design, enabling you to build high-quality websites that support touch devices.
You have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with engineers from different platforms, such as iOS and Android, to build reusable patterns. You thrive on challenging tasks and are passionate about building end-to-end solutions, leveraging hardware capabilities and integrating them into web modules.. You are ready to candidly and respectfully share your wisdom and knowledge for the betterment of our team, our code and our product.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid working in our HCMC office
Your Day-to-Day
- Design, implement and maintain features within Axon App and related shared libraries.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate within the Scrum team to ensure we hit our sprint goals, collaborate with other groups to ensure we build and ship the “right” thing.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science
- 5+ years shipping high-quality Web applications
- Very strong in Javascript, CSS foundations
- Strongly competent in ReactJS, GraphQL, Redux
- Strong track record of delivering solid code on a schedule
- Excellent communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Having experience working with Mobile Platform (Hybrid, Mobile Web) is a big plus
- Having experience working with Mobile Offline Feature is a big plus
- CI/CD: experience creating and managing automation and integration - Teamcity/Github Actions
- VSCode, WebStorm
Nice-to-have
- Monitoring & Alerting experience
- Very experience with javascript foundation.
