Our Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) is at the forefront of transforming how evidence is captured, analyzed, and shared across law enforcement, prosecution, and defense. YOUR IMPACT

As a Principal Product Manager, you will define the strategic vision and execution roadmap for DEMS, ensuring that our platform meets the evolving needs of law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and other justice stakeholders. You will collaborate across hardware, software, and cloud ecosystems to build innovative solutions that streamline evidence collection, organization, and accessibility. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding the broader platform to match and exceed mobile advancements, ensuring a seamless, future-proof experience across all devices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Hybrid 
Reports to: Director of Product, DEMS
Direct Reports: None

  • Define and Execute Product Strategy: Develop and drive a multi-year vision and roadmap for DEMS, ensuring alignment with Axon’s broader mission and strategic goals.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, legal, and operations teams to drive product initiatives from concept to launch.
  • Innovate Across Platforms: Leverage emerging technologies, AI, cloud computing, and edge processing to improve evidence management solutions and workflow efficiency.
  • Engage with Customers: Conduct extensive Voice of Customer (VoC) research through direct conversations, usability studies, and industry partnerships to inform development priorities.
  • Ensure Scalability & Compliance: Work closely with regulatory and data governance teams to ensure scalability, security, and legal compliance across all markets.
  • Mentor and Influence: Provide thought leadership within Axon and externally, guiding junior PMs and influencing product decisions across teams and stakeholders.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Product Management, preferably in SaaS, digital evidence management, or justice-related technology.
  • Deep technical acumen, with expertise in cloud services, mobile architectures, and enterprise security. 
  • Proven ability to drive end-to-end product strategy and execution for high-scale platforms, ensuring business and technical success. 
  • Exceptional Cross-Functional Leadership Skills, working effectively across engineering, UX, marketing, and legal teams. 
  • Strong Data-Driven Decision-Making Skills, leveraging analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative insights to shape product direction. 
  • Customer-centric mindset, demonstrated through direct engagement, research, and iterative development with public safety professionals. 
  • Experience launching international products and managing compliance requirements across multiple regions. 
  • Ability to influence at all levels, from executive leadership to individual contributors. 
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%).
