Your Impact

Axon Records is our state-of-the-art records management system. Customer demand for Axon Records is high, but the pace at which we can onboard customers is constrained by the effort required for each customer. That’s where you come in. As the Principal Product Manager for Customer Scale, you will lead a broad, cross-functional team to determine how we 10x the volume of our customer deployments without sacrificing the focus on customer success that Axon is known for. You will own the vision, strategy and execution for every product capability that enables and accelerates agency go‑lives, from data conversions and integrations to compliance reporting (NIBRS) and other self‑service tooling.

Partnering closely with our Professional Services (PSO) team, you will streamline configuration and deployment and automate orchestration of complex data movements between systems, compressing launch timelines while improving customer satisfaction. You will measure success by increase in deployment throughput, customer time‑to‑value, and reduction in PSO hours spent on deployment.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead Deployment Scale: Define and deliver a roadmap across Integrations, Data Conversions, Compliance (NIBRS) Reporting, and self‑service configuration that enable agencies to implement Records at speed and at scale.
  • Shape the Product Promise: Operationalize our product vision while learning from customers and continuously refining KPIs, user journeys, and feedback loops.
  • Innovate and Simplify: Partner with design, engineering, and customer deployment teams to guide development of new workflows and AI features that dramatically simplify tasks, empowering our deployment teams to focus more on understanding their customers.
  • Own Critical Operational Metrics: Set and track the measurements that will illuminate progress toward our North Star, iterating based on quantitative and qualitative feedback as you go.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market: Contribute to pricing, packaging, and positioning in concert with Sales and Professional Services to align commercial models with scalable deployment offerings.
  • Mentor the team: Act as a thought leader and coach for PMs across the team helping level up your fellow PMs on scaling principles, data-driven decision-making, and putting the customer at the center.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a focus on enterprise SaaS, search systems, modern AI-driven features, and/or platforms requiring deep technical collaboration.
  • Proven ability to design and ship successful features that reduce implementation and calendar time to the right outcomes while giving customers a better experience.
  • Deep customer empathy and demonstrated success partnering with design to build frictionless, intuitive experiences across diverse user personas.
  • Strong technical fluency; able to converse meaningfully with engineers on infrastructure, data integrations, AI-driven solution paths, and UX tradeoffs.
  • Effective cross-functional leader and executive communicator; skilled at aligning roadmaps and priorities across multiple internal and external teams.
  • Passion for law enforcement or mission-driven products is a plus, especially if you've worked with public safety, civic tech, or regulatory systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
