Your Impact
The Digital Evidence Management (DEMS) team is seeking a Senior Product Manager II to deliver highly impactful products. This role will sit within our Core DEMS team, which is responsible for the backbone of our evidence ecosystem - ingestion, search, organization, metadata & access control, reporting, and mobile applications. Specifically, this role will be responsible for AI-enabled products and orchestration platforms that extract key data from evidence and make it searchable and actionable. The highly collaborative nature of this work will enable you to interact with engineers, product designers, AI scientists, ML engineers, technical program managers, and go-to-market teams. This role will also interact with customers and community partners to ensure we deliver AI-enabled products that are fair and unbiased, and meet our high bar for ethical and equitable design.
Reports to: Manager, Product Management
Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, Boston, or Scottsdale office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Role Responsibilities
- Direct and guide the software product vision; communicate to the cross-functional team and evolve it based on interactions with customers as the solution is developed
- Create needle-moving product roadmaps aligned with business goals by synthesizing data from many inputs including customer success teams and consumer tech trends
- Partner closely with engineering teams to balance scope, functionality, performance, and time to market
- Partner closely with AI teams to drive the full lifecycle of AI feature development, from data collection to model selection, training, evaluation, pipeline design, and feedback loops
- Operate with autonomy while proactively reducing ambiguity for your team and your cross-functional peers
- Set performance metrics for the most important functions of the products and work with team to measure and achieve them
Skills Required
- 10+ years relevant software Product Management experience ideally shipping SaaS subscriptions in complicated, regulated environments
- 2+ years experience working on AI-enabled products
- Direct collaboration with engineers to balance scope, time to market, and functionality, constantly making trade-offs using qualitative, quantitative, and absent data
- Excellent problem-solving skills, well-structured written and verbal communication
- Proven track record of delivering successful products that achieve key business outcomes
- Well-developed written and verbal communication to effectively align multiple audiences across different teams, timezones, and levels of the organization.
- Solid knowledge of project management principles, seeing around corners
- Ongoing assessment of program opportunities for improvements and skill improvement
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally when necessary (10%)

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 141,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 225,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
