Your Impact
As the Solution Architect Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the company’s Solution Architects. This person will implement processes to ensure quality, productivity, and client satisfaction. Under minimal supervision, the Lead Solutions Architect ensures that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved through timely delivery of the highest possible level of technical services that include system interface construction, technical project scoping, and system analysis.
What You’ll Do
Location: Hybrid - Must report into one of our Hub locations listed below
(Scottsdale AZ, Seattle WA, Boston MA, Denver CO, Atlanta GA)
- Lead the team of Solutions Architects, providing guidance and process oversight
- Mentor newer members of the Solution Architecture team
- Work with a team of networking and software professionals to deliver Axon technology to law enforcement clients
- Analyze IT system architectures for the purposes of scoping technical projects and recommending system improvements
- Manage technical projects at client sites
- Engage with a police department's technical and non-technical leadership to communicate project progress and information
- Work with account management to ensure customer needs are being met
- Accountable to internal stakeholders for resource allocation and team performance
- Ensure the highest level of service in Axon software deployments
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of people management experience.
- Demonstrated analytical skills through understanding and defining complex subject material.
- Experience analyzing and developing technical systems and solutions (networking, applications, and services).
- Understanding of project management.
- Understanding of business process analysis.
- Basic understanding of integration coding methodologies
- Understanding of organizational development
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks within a dynamic environment.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical people, including clients and vendors.
- Communication modes include spoken, email, reports, presentations, and procedure manuals.
- Management experience in a software development or public safety environment.
- Experience in public safety industry.
- Past experience deploying and implementing a Records Management System (RMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), or both, into a public safety agency.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain CJIS clearance
