Your Impact
As Product Marketing Director for Prepared by Axon, you’ll lead go-to-market strategy and messaging for the Prepared by Axon platform. The Prepared by Axon platform empowers Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and Emergency Communication Centers (ECCs) across the US to utilize assistive AI to transform emergency response.
This is a Program Lead role: You will serve as the strategic lead for this platform, mentor an additional PMM, define positioning and messaging across this product family and ensure successful launches and adoption of this portfolio of products.
What You’ll Do
- Lead GTM strategy for the Prepared by Axon platform
- Develop and refine compelling product narratives that resonate with our target audiences, ensuring consistency across all channels
- Mentor additional PMMs focused on supporting specific tools within this portfolio
- Collaborate with Product to align roadmap communication and customer-facing messaging
- Coordinate across Sales, Demand Gen, Brand, and Content for campaign development
- Work with the Sales Enablement team to create and evolve sales enablement tools and product collateral
- Serve as the strategic voice of Prepared by Axon across the entire org
What You Bring
- 9–13 years of product marketing or GTM experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or govtech
- Deep understanding of cloud software, workflow tools, and user-centric storytelling
- Proven track record launching products and leading positioning at a portfolio level
- Exceptional collaboration skills across Product, Sales, Creative, and Strategy
- Strong messaging, competitive, and enablement capabilities
- Experience in public safety, justice, or regulated environments a strong plus
AI Expectations in This Role
You’ll use AI to support narrative development, competitor tracking, and persona-based content iteration. As a Team Lead, you’ll also guide others in your pod to use AI tools to scale delivery, improve content quality, and deepen audience understanding.

- Audit messaging, product content, and sales materials

- Launch or relaunch a messaging framework or campaign initiative
- Define resourcing plan needing to expand growth for next 12 months
90 Days & Beyond
- Serve as portfolio lead for GTM success across Prepared by Axon
- Drive alignment between product roadmap and go-to-market execution
