Your Impact
You’ll play a key role in elevating how agencies around the world understand, analyze, and present video evidence. As the senior training specialist for Axon Investigate, you’ll shape the curriculum, lead instruction, and ensure every student walks away with the confidence to use video effectively in their investigations. Your expertise will directly influence how justice professionals interpret critical evidence—and ultimately help bring truth to light in the moments that matter most.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Axon Investigate training program, setting strategy, refining processes, and ensuring world-class training delivery across all course formats
- Teach a full range of Axon Investigate courses online and in person, serving as a subject-matter expert who can translate complex video concepts into clear, practical instruction.
- Design, update, and maintain comprehensive curriculum materials—including manuals, presentations, exercises, and virtual machine environments—to keep content aligned with product updates and industry standards.
- Oversee end-to-end classroom operations by coordinating schedules, managing training resources, and supporting instructors and assistants to deliver smooth, consistent learning experiences.
- Recruit, onboard, and coach new instructors and assistants, building a strong instructional team that can scale with program growth.
- Partner closely with Product, Training, and Sales teams to improve course content, gather customer insights, support product launches, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Represent Axon Investigate at conferences, trade shows, and customer events through presentations, product demos, and expert consultations.
- Identify and document product issues encountered during training, providing clear feedback to the Product team to support continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- Professional forensic video certification from either LEVA (Forensic Video Technician required; Analyst preferred) or IAI (Forensic Video Certification required).
- Hands-on experience working with video evidence in law enforcement or the private sector.
- 6+ years of instructional experience teaching topics related to video evidence, forensic workflows, or multimedia analysis.
- 5+ years as a frequent Axon Investigate user with deep knowledge of its tools, workflows, and practical applications.
- Demonstrated experience developing training or curriculum on subjects such as video fundamentals, courtroom presentation, investigative workflows, or multimedia case development.
- Background in evidence management, forensic multimedia practices, or video/audio analysis.
- Experience with Evidence.com or maintaining chain of custody for multimedia.
- Familiarity with authentication methods, perceptual limitations, and courtroom testimony involving video evidence.
