Your Impact

Dedrone, by Axon, is a global leader in smart airspace security. Commercial, government, public safety and defence customers around the world rely on Dedrone’s comprehensive command-and-control (C2) solutions to protect against evolving drone threats while enabling authorised drone operations.
By leveraging AI/ML and integrating multiple sensors and mitigation technologies into a single operating picture, Dedrone enables customers to detect, track, identify, analyse and respond to drone activity. Solutions can be deployed on-premise, in air-gapped environments or in the cloud, supporting demanding defence, national security, public safety and critical-infrastructure missions.
 
This role will drive Dedrone’s growth across Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), with a particular focus on Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary. The region is experiencing rapidly evolving security requirements and increasing demand for counter-UAS and airspace-awareness capabilities across defence, border security, critical infrastructure and public safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own market development, sales planning and revenue growth across Central & Eastern European markets, with particular focus on Defence, National Security, Public Safety and Critical Infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute country-specific go-to-market strategies reflecting local defence procurement structures, security priorities, regulatory environments and customer requirements.
  • Build and expand relationships with defence ministries, armed forces, border and security agencies, police and public safety organisations, critical-infrastructure operators and other government stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging requirements and new market opportunities associated with the rapidly evolving UAS and counter-UAS threat environment, including protection of military installations, borders, airports, energy infrastructure and other strategic sites.
  • Develop trusted relationships with local systems integrators, defence industry partners, technology partners, resellers and distributors, creating a scalable partner ecosystem across the region.
  • Navigate complex government and defence procurement processes and develop opportunities from initial customer engagement and capability definition through demonstrations, trials, tenders and contract award.
  • Position Dedrone solutions within broader C2, sensor, radar, electronic warfare, security and counter-UAS architectures, working with customers and partners to address operational requirements.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to maximise opportunities created through existing Axon relationships, capabilities and networks across government, public safety and commercial markets.
  • Represent Dedrone at relevant defence, security and public safety events across the wider CEE region, building senior-level relationships and strengthening Dedrone’s regional presence.
  • Work closely with Dedrone and Axon sales, product, engineering and leadership teams across EMEA and globally on strategic opportunities, customer requirements and major programmes.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of regional market developments, procurement programmes, competitors and evolving customer requirements, translating these insights into actionable commercial strategies.
What You Bring
  • A successful track record in technology sales or business development, ideally within defence technology, counter-UAS, aerospace, security, public safety, sensors, radar, electronic warfare or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Eastern Europe markets, national security or public safety ecosystem, including established relationships with relevant government, military, industry and integration partners.
  • Experience developing opportunities involving government procurement, defence programmes, tenders, trials and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Ability to engage credibly with customers at tactical, operational and strategic levels, from technical and operational users through to senior military, government and industry decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiating skills, combined with the ability to explain sophisticated technical solutions in the context of customer missions and operational requirements.
  • Excellent networking skills and the ability to build long-term, trusted relationships across government and industry.
  • Mission-driven, outcomes-focused, collaborative and comfortable working within an international organisation and a rapidly evolving security environment.
  • Mature, proactive and self-directed, with a structured and transparent working style and the ability to develop a territory with significant autonomy.
  • Fluency in a CEE Countries language and strong professional written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the wider CEE region.
