Your Impact
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products manufactured at our Kassel facility. You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify quality risks, resolve production issues, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
What You’ll Do
Location: Onsite at our Kassel, Germany office
Reports to: General Manager Operations Kassel
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring product and process quality across incoming materials, in-process controls, and final product verification.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D and RCA.
- Manage non-conforming materials and support MRB disposition processes with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain inspection plans, AQL sampling strategies, and quality documentation.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including validation plans, PFMEA development, and process control implementation.
- Analyze quality and manufacturing data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing engineering to improve process stability, yield, and defect reduction.
- Participate in internal and supplier quality audits and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Support supplier quality activities and collaborate with supply chain teams to improve supplier performance.
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives and operational excellence programs within the Kassel site.
What You Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or production quality engineering.
- Experience with structured quality tools such as root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and 8D problem solving.
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality processes including inspection planning, FAIR or PPAP documentation, and statistical process analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Location
This role is based out of our Kassel, Germany office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
