
Lead Technical Project Manager

The Role
AXS is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager to be responsible for developing and aligning program objectives with business strategies and establishing program governance standards, defining success criteria and KPIs to monitor program performance. This role will also provide leadership to foster a collaborative team environment. Effective communication within the program will be paramount to promoting transparency and achieving program goals.
What Will You Do?
- Develop program vision and goals and align program objectives with business strategies.
- Regularly review and update program strategy
- Identify and engage key stakeholders and ensure clear communication to address concerns and feedback promptly.
- Establish and enforce program governance standards ensuring compliance with organizational policies
- Conduct regular governance reviews
- Identify and assess program risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate risk status and mitigation efforts
- Define and measure program success criteria ensuring value delivery to end-users
- Establish KPIs and monitor program performance against KPIs. Communicate performance updates to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Facilitate effective communication within the program to promote transparency and openness
What Will You Bring?
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ Experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development life cycle and various technology methodologies that support that life cycle.
- 1+ Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.
- Strong experience with SDLC methodologies: Agile, SCRUM, SDLC/Waterfall, and Hybrid environments to manage projects and ensure that all team members are working collaboratively and efficiently.
- Experience with driving complex, cross-functional expertise projects, leading multiple efforts simultaneously, with complexity and capacity-limiting factors.
- Strong project management experience in a software development setting.
- Proven ability to work with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
- Exceptional knowledge in assessing project risks and issues and developing contingency plans as needed.
- Exceptional leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential risks and issues before they arise. Experience in aligning project goals with broader organizational objectives.

Pay Scale: $145,000-155,000
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
Benefits: Full-time: We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: medical, dental and vision insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, company paid basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, parental leave, 401k Plan (with a current employer match of 3%), flexible spending and health savings account options, and wellness offerings. Currently, full time employees are eligible for these benefits on the first day of employment.
