As a Software Test Analyst, you will work closely with the product and development team to ensure that product changes and improvements are delivered per the requirements. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly. What is most important is that you are committed to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team. You’ll need to demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, and passion to develop fast in an international working environment. You will need to pick up new skills and talents as you go, so asking questions and having the confidence to speak up are essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases as per Requirements and Specifications
  • Responsible for Test Analysis and Test Execution phases and compiling QA reports
  • Constant execution of test plans and ad hoc requests
  • Detecting, logging, and reporting software bugs/defects and glitches
  • Tracking bugs/defects and helping troubleshoot errors
  • Assessing the product or service in terms of user experience and functionality
  • Performing Exploratory Testing to ensure Live products are working as expected
  • Collaborating closely with software developers and Product Owners
  • Work on the continuous improvement of Agile Testing processes together with the testers of the other teams
  • Work in an agile environment, attend daily stand-up calls, give daily status reports and call out any issues or blockers that may delay release delivery
  • Approach testing with a “zero tolerance for defects” mentality, driving engineering to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Cross Platform (PC/Mobile/Tablet) and Cross Browsing testing
  • Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
  • Process product reviews and inform the product team regarding defects and errors
  • Share reports and metrics to relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress

What you'll need to be successful:

Must haves:

  • At least 3 years of QA experience throughout all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (preferably technical discipline)
  • Experience with bug management and test management tools (i.e Jira, TestRail)
  • Experience in Cross Browser and Cross platform testing (using relevant tools e.g BrowserStack )
  • Ability to document and communicate effectively outcomes of the testing process (for Technical QA or UAT) both in writing and verbally
  • Proficient in test case creation and test plan organization
  • Ability to develop reports and presentations that are clear and impactful
  • Provide insights and recommendations to help verify that the solution/technology is meeting business requirements and identify new projects or opportunities for additional services
  • Shipped multiple features, games, web pages, web features, services
  • Ability to understand the software development process lifecycle and how it fits in with the business approach and goals of the business. Be able to view the point form customer or end-user of the software perspective

Nice to haves:

  • ISTQB or relevant qualification
  • A strong focus on quality with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pro-activeness and confidence in making decisions
