We are seeking an enthusiastic Product Owner to join our Product management team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for working with your direct peers in understanding, prioritizing, and defining the customer needs, while working as a partner of the Engineering team. You will assist with all aspects of product development, the product requirement gathering efforts and collaborate closely with the business to ensure alignment with product strategy, vision, and customer needs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work in the product management team to prioritize requirements for Trust & Safety platform.
  • Drive investigations with Engineering for business related issues.
  • Coordinate and deliver roadmap features for the selected tools and Trust and Safety CMS.
  • Have an understanding of user flows, expected user experience, data flow and APIs.
  • Communication with internal end user clients and product management to understand expected user behavior, expected benefits and reporting requirements. 
  • Provide feedback to the dev team through your own troubleshooting, testing and feedback gathering from clients, administrators, dependencies and integrators.
  • Provide updates to clients, integrators, strategic planning, and management as required.
  • Lead the scrum team meetings, most particularly: sprint planning, grooming, project kick offs, brainstorming sessions.
  • Update Jira tickets and prepare technical notes for the clients.
  • Ensure progressive demos are prepared based on sprint goals and project deliveries.
  • Determine all sprint goals, in alignment with the project priorities provided by management.
  • Provide requests and deadlines to engineering to ensure the correct functionality is created with clear requirements for development.
  • Write and review business cases, use cases, and user stories with relevant acceptance criteria and boundaries.
  • Write and/or approve the tickets within the team sprint and backlog.
  • Finalize business requirement documentation by gathering clarifications from clients for developers, and do so within the proper planning deadlines.
  • Propose effective recommendations, solutions and ideas for feature development and discuss them with product management and stakeholders.
  • Finalize scope by gathering clarifications from clients for developers.
  • Review client feature requests and provide feedback in terms of potential solutions, feature phases.

What you’ll need to be successful:

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar related field
  • Experience in website or software product ownership, coordination, project management and/or planning
  • A strong understanding of the relationship between product and engineering
  • Proven project management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, think out of the box
  • Proficiency in documentation and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in an agile environment and perform under tight deadlines
  • Experience with use of JIRA
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in building SaaS solutions
