This position reports to the Data Privacy Director. The successful candidate will support the Data Privacy team on a wide range of assigned and special projects, such as the execution of routine privacy audits and research reports.

What you will be doing:

  • Review and process incoming Data Subject Requests (DSRs) related to data access, deletion, rectification, portability, and objection.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Compliance, IT) to ensure that responses meet legal requirements and are provided within the specified timeframe.
  • Track and maintain records of all DSR requests and responses, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Respond to internal ad hoc privacy queries
  • Supporting team in the day-to-day operations
  • Support the documentation of the privacy procedures 
  • Keep up to date with changes in global privacy regulations
  • Process, implement and monitor Data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs).

What you will need to be successful:

 Must haves:

  • 1+ year of experience working in data privacy compliance or related field
  • Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree (Information Security, Computer Science, Law, Engineering)
  • Knowledge of European data protection laws and practices including an in-depth understanding of GDPR, and emerging privacy regulations
  • Knowledge of global, standards, and frameworks
  • Professional certifications in privacy e.g., CIPP/CIPT, risk management, or audit will consider an advantage.
  • Planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
