Email Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for onboarding, engaging, and retaining users while ensuring our email marketing operations are optimized for deliverability, compliance, and measurable business impact. This role combines strategy, execution, and performance monitoring, with a strong focus on IP/domain reputation and deliverability best practices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Plan, design, and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to onboard, engage, and retain users.
- Develop and implement strategies for persuasive, personalized messaging using segmentation and behavioral triggers.
- Grow and maintain high-quality, compliant email lists, ensuring proper list hygiene.
- Enhance email templates with compelling graphics, personalization, and advanced features, ensuring mobile responsiveness.
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics (CTR, conversion, bounce rate, list growth, sharing, and revenue).
- Optimize campaigns and templates through continual improvement and A/B testing.
- Research user lifecycles to identify optimal engagement touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Product to create seamless, holistic user journeys.
- Align email communications with brand and revenue objectives.
- Monitor and maintain sender/IP/domain reputation, managing bounces, suppressions, and feedback loops.
- Implement and oversee SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication, proactively resolving deliverability issues.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and industry best practices.
What You'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
- 2+ years of experience in Email marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field or similar experience
- Hands on experience with HTML.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
- Proficiency in Email Marketing automation.
- Strong understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and ISP/ESP guidelines.
- Experience with segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM)
Nice to have:
- B2 level in German is a plus
