Trust & Safety Compliance Analyst

Working at the unprecedented speed and scale of our platforms, our Trust & Safety, Content Standards & Compliance team develops innovative ways to keep our platforms safe by ensuring that only compliant content appears on our websites and by swiftly addressing potentially inappropriate material. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including legal, operations, customer care, product management, and engineering—to combat harmful content through analytical tasks requiring critical thinking and nuanced problem-solving. What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining product compliance by moderating video, image, and text content based on a defined set of guidelines, standards, and processes.
- Evaluating content using a risk-based approach, while identifying potential areas for improvement in guidelines, processes, or other aspects, and escalating them to your Lead or Manager.
- Participating in regular training and assessments to validate your understanding of existing, new, or updated compliance standards, guidelines, and processes.
- Ensuring accurate and timely records of moderation results are submitted at regular intervals.
- Sharing knowledge and experience with both existing and new members of the moderation team.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Must haves:
- 0–2 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to understand and absorb various policies, standards, procedures, and related documentation
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously
- Proactive and resourceful mindset
- Ability to focus on specific tasks for extended periods
- Ability to confidently make decisions on reviewed content
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in content moderation, including adult content or other sensitive material
- Fluency in a language other than English or French (particularly Hindi, Thai, Japanese, or Mandarin)
