Technical Data Analyst - Data Warehouse Services

The Data Warehouse Services team plays a vital role in our organization. They are responsible for storing vast quantities of data from many sources and responsible for disseminating data across the organization to various different groups. They are one of the backbones of data at our organization and they are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their team.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including; Directors, Analysts, and Developers to understand business objectives and requirements, and help define the strategy, content, and features for our reporting environments.
- Engage with business partners at all levels to discuss and clarify data analysis, needs and requirements.
- Analyze data structures and content from data marts to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where multitasking and adaptability are essential.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to define functional requirements, organize content, map process flows, and specify report features.
- Develop and optimize queries to investigate data issues or new reporting structures for various business units.
- Work closely with Database Administrators and Developers to estimate time and effort for report projects and refining these estimates throughout the project.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track project status, identify potential risks,and resolve issues as they arise.
- Become a subject matter expert in relevant business domains and reporting tools.
- Assist in coordinating and maintaining development roadmaps to ensure alignment with business goals.
What you'll need to be successful:
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of tools to create, extract, and analyze from SQL Server / Excel / PowerBI / Fabric / Cubes.
- Strong customer support experience.
- Understanding Data flow Concepts.
- Understanding Business Model Concepts.
