Senior Manager, Land & Title

This role will play a critical part in protecting company interests and enabling timely, compliant development outcomes by providing strategic oversight and leadership for all title, mineral, and land-related activities across the portfolio. The ideal candidate will contribute to cross-functional planning, ensure consistent standards are applied across geographies, and combine technical title expertise with strong communication and project management skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex title due diligence;
• Coordinate title curative efforts with title companies, outside counsel, landowners, and internal stakeholders;
• Ensure site control is properly secured;
• Evaluate title commitments, negotiate title insurance policies, and review ALTA surveys;
• Provide subject matter expertise on all Title and Land matters throughout the project life cycle;
• Track and report Land contracts and Title issues;
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of title review experience;
• Bachelor’s Degree, JD Preferred;
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and attention to detail;
• Renewable energy experience preferred;
• Land acquisition experience preferred;
• A collaborative approach to work, with a successful record of planning, executing, and overseeing numerous complex projects simultaneously;
• High initiative and desire to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with senior mentorship but limited task-level direction and supervision.

Compensation and Location:

Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience;
Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the overall success of the business;

Location: Hybrid (USA). Ability to work in the United States is a requirement. Preference is given to candidates located in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate. OR Remote (USA). The ability to work in the United States is a requirement;
Travel: 10%
