Description:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled AI Solutions Engineer to lead our efforts in researching and implementing novel generative AI technologies within our game development pipelines. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in game creation, combining a deep understanding of AI with practical game development experience.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research on emerging generative AI technologies and their potential applications in game development
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions to accelerate content creation pipelines
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and engineers to integrate AI technologies seamlessly into existing workflows
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the potential of AI in various aspects of game development
- Optimize AI models for real-time performance in game environments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in areas relevant to game development

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development, with a focus on generative AI technologies
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or C#
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine preferred)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical team members

Pluses:

  • Experience with Stable Diffusion, Flux, ComfyUI or advanced AI image generation
  • Experience with LLMs (GPT4+, Claude 3+, Llama 3+, etc)
  • Experience with procedural content generation
  • Knowledge of computer graphics and 3D modeling
  • Background in natural language processing or computer vision
  • Familiarity with reinforcement learning techniques
  • Experience with game AI systems (pathfinding, behavior trees, etc.)
  • Publications or contributions to AI research in gaming or related fields

A Day in the Life of an AI Solutions Engineer at Azra Games:

As an AI Solutions Engineer at Azra Games, your day is filled with exciting challenges and cutting-edge technology. Here's what a typical day might look like:

Morning: You start your day by refining Stable Diffusion or ComfyUI workflows to generate game assets. You might be tweaking parameters to create more diverse character concepts or implementing a new technique to enhance environmental textures.

Lunchtime: Over lunch, you dive into the latest research paper on Gaussian Splats, considering how this technology could revolutionize our 3D rendering pipeline. You discuss potential applications with colleagues, brainstorming ways to integrate this into our game engine.

Afternoon: The latter part of your day is spent prototyping a system that uses a Large Language Model (LLM) to create behavior trees in Unity. You're exploring how AI can assist game designers in creating more complex and realistic NPC behaviors.

Throughout the day, you collaborate with artists, designers, and other engineers, bridging the gap between AI capabilities and game development needs. You're constantly learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in game creation.

Base Salary Range: $127,000-$190,500. The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
