As a Digital Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience building and supporting data pipelines and platforms using modern tools and techniques. You’ll partner closely with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to help ensure data is reliable, accessible, and actionable across the organization. This is an opportunity to learn core data engineering concepts while contributing to meaningful, real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, dbt, and Airflow
- Support the design and optimization of data models in Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and help implement solutions
- Follow best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and documentation
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration activities
- Document data pipelines, systems, and workflows clearly and concisely
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Familiarity with databases or data modeling concepts (coursework or projects)
- Exposure to tools such as dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL is a plus
- Understanding of basic software engineering principles (e.g., modular code, version control)
- Strong curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn
- Experience with Agile methodologies or tools is a plus
- Exposure to platforms like Palantir Foundry is a bonus, not required
