Brief team/department description:
The Analytics Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business strategy and data-driven execution across Azurity’s commercial portfolio. This role supports the ACE platform, brand launches, forecasting initiatives, and the development of repeatable analytic workflows. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for enabling data-informed decisions.
Principle Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Strategic Support
- Partner with business teams to define analytic needs and translate them into actionable data requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to refine existing use cases and expand to new capabilities.
Data & Analytics Execution
- Conduct root cause analysis on performance gaps and failure demand and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the development of semantic layers and data models to improve accessibility and consistency of analytics.
Platform & Process Enablement
- Contribute to the ACE product roadmap by identifying user pain points and proposing enhancements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business priorities and data engineering workflows.
Documentation & Communication
- Document business requirements, workflows, and analytic logic for internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations and reports for steering committees, brand teams, and leadership.
- Facilitate feedback loops between field teams and analytics to continuously improve platform utility.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or data strategy roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial operations in life sciences or healthcare.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
