Principle Responsibilities:
The HR payroll specialist will join our HR shared Services team in Hyderabad to oversee the payroll process for our India based colleagues and will grow to support payroll processes in other countries, including the USA and Ireland.
- Managing payroll operations for India and Ireland (further regions if need be) & ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Generating payroll reports detailing deductions, exemptions, and insurance coverage, ensuring adherence to legal & tax regulations.
- Identifying areas for payroll process improvements, managing liabilities, & analyzing payroll data to drive enhancement.
- Guaranteeing compliance with country-specific payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements for each jurisdiction.
- Working with local payroll providers to verify and collect payroll data, including salaries, benefits, and deductions; ensuring compliance with local payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security requirements.
- Reviewing and confirming payroll calculations, including statutory deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
- Coordinating data integration between HR and payroll systems for accuracy.
- Reconciling & validating payroll outputs, such as pay slips, tax filings, and social security contributions.
- Addressing and resolving payroll-related issues and escalations from employees globally.
- Conduct training sessions to update team members and new joiners on payroll processes.
- Generate official documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and warning letters.
Preferred qualification & pre-requisite skills:
- A bachelor’s degree or MBA · Proficiency in KEKA, ADP and other payroll tools
- Developed and implemented procedures to ensure accurate entry of payroll data
- Customer service mindset and understanding the value of timely response & resolution
- Multitasking simultaneously while meeting timelines consistently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
