Brief team/department description:

WPS R&D team at Azurity wish to extend their support to Sciences team with respect to instrument service and management to keep the uptime as low as possible.  This will help the R&D teams to reach their 2026 goals.

Principle Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of SOP’s related instrument calibration, validation, and PM master schedule plan
  2. Execution of calibrations, validation, and preventive maintenance per the master schedule plan in coordination with the Vendor/AD/FD team, as applicable.
  3. Maintenance of minimum spare to meet daily requirements and stock register maintenance.
  4. Daily monitoring of instrument working status
  5. Co-ordination with vendors for the service and maintenance
  6. Responsible for addressing the Breakdown of equipment/instruments/utilities at Azurity R&D
  7. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining HVAC, room temperature & scrubber maintenance.
  8. Responsible for Coordinating and monitoring of AMC/CAMCs and their execution as required.
  9. Supporting facility management with respective room temperature, electrical, HVAC, GDS, A/C’s, etc., wherever needed instrument engineer will help from MN park or external vendor.
  10. Supporting MN Park for utility-related issues.
  11. Responsible for instrument installation and qualification (URS, DQ, IQ, OQ). PQ will be done in coordination with the respective technical team. Initiation of change controls for new equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as service engineer
  • should have experience and expertise to handle breakdowns of analytical as well as formulation equipment/machines.
  • B. Tech (Mechanical/Instrumentation) degree is preferred for this position
