About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead cross-functional pharmaceutical development programs from concept through commercialization. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities, ensuring alignment between internal stakeholders and external partners (CMOs, CROs, and CDMOs). The Project Manager will drive execution against timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. The person we select for this role will play a key part in Azurity’s scientific excellence, contribution to patient care and growth of business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial, and external partners.
- Manage project schedules through critical path analysis and identify opportunities to accelerate timelines.
- Track project progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Lead project governance meetings and provide status updates to senior leadership.
- Facilitate technology transfer, development, validation, registration, and launch activities.
- Coordinate external service providers, CMOs, CROs, and vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost management for assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
- Prepare project reports, management presentations, risk assessments, and executive summaries.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline with PMP and relevant project plaining certification.
- 8–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development, technical operations, project management, or related functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Experienced in developing complex ANDAs or NDA products for regulated markets.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, and risk management skills.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, regulatory pathways, technology transfer, validation, and commercialization processes.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline with PMP and relevant project plaining certification.
