Office Manager

Commercial Point, OH

Weekly Pay | 35% Babylist Discount | Paid Holidays | Paid Healthcare Benefits

What the Role Is

Own the day-to-day operations of our Commercial Point, Ohio Fulfillment Center — front desk, facilities, supplies, vendor relationships, and workplace safety. This is a build role: the operating playbook doesn't exist yet — spend tracking, vendor terms, a furniture-request process — and you'll define them. You'll own real recurring budgets (kitchen, office supplies, engagement spend), partner on-site with the Safety Committee, and co-own culture programming across all three shifts with FC leadership. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM,  reporting to the General Manager, Fulfillment Operations.

About Pay

We pay competitive market rates.

Starting salary for this position is $68,138 to $81,755 annually

Holidays Observed

The Fulfillment Center is closed on the following days for this shift in 2026:

  • New Year's Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Years Day (2027)

All shifts receive 4 floating holidays in addition to the holidays observed, so you can celebrate what matters to you the most, whenever that may be.

Who You Are

  • You've owned a recurring operating budget and vendor relationships — you've tracked spend, negotiated directly with suppliers, and reported against a budget, not just placed reorders.
  • You build process where none exists — you've created the tracker, the policy, the workflow, not just run one you were handed.
  • You're self-directed — you catch what the building needs before someone flags it, and you close the loop without being chased.
  • You know the rhythm of a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment environment and move through it with confidence.
  • You're genuinely energized by building culture — not just tolerating the "plan the events" part of the job.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
  • You're proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and comfortable with basic inventory/order-management tools.
  • You have 2+ years in office administration, facilities coordination, or operations.
  • You naturally reach for AI in your work — at Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Own the front desk and guest experience — be the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and scheduled guests, and keep reception clean, professional, and running smoothly.
  • Own supplies and vendor relationships end-to-end — keep the kitchen and office-supply areas fully stocked, manage deliveries, restocks, and quality, and negotiate terms directly with suppliers.
  • Own the budgets — track and report monthly on the kitchen and office-supply budgets (plus engagement and furniture spend as it comes online), staying within budget and keeping spend transparent.
  • Build the processes that don't exist yet — spend tracking, a furniture-request policy, vendor terms — and document them so they outlast you.
  • Partner with the Safety Committee as on-site support, reinforcing a culture of safety and compliance across the FC.
  • Co-own FC culture — co-lead the "Fun Committee" with FC leadership (GM + HRBP) to plan events, recognition, and wellness, and keep the experience consistent across day, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Own internal comms for the events calendar so every shift stays informed and engaged.

Why This Role

  • You're building the operational playbook for this FC from scratch — the spend tracking, vendor terms, and furniture process don't exist yet; you define them.
  • Real ownership from day one — your own budgets, your own vendor relationships, your own culture programming, not a support seat.
  • Your impact is felt daily, on every shift, in a building where a well-run workplace shows.
