
Sr. Software Engineer

But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team!
What You’ll Do:
You will work on our software responsible for storing customer data, with a focus on improving durability and performance.
The Right Fit:
• 10+ years of OOP (Java, C++, C#, etc) in an enterprise environment (personal project
work not included)
• Profiling software, system or IO performance
• Experience with object storage systems and protocols
• Large scale systems supporting thousands of servers
Bonus points for:
• Proficiency in Java
• Familiarity with hard drive performance
• Understanding of Linux file systems
• Experience with data analytics and statistical analysis
• Experience with Apache Tomcat
• Experience with Python
Looking for an attitude of:
• Passionate about building high performance and scalable code with easy to use Interfaces and APIs.
• Likes to work closely with other engineers, support, and sales to help customers.
• Believes the whole world needs backup, not just English speakers in the USA.
• Customer Focused (!!) — always focus on the customer’s point of view and how to solve their problem!
