
Events Manager (Part-time)

But while there is a lot to celebrate in our past, there is almost as much opportunity ahead of us. We are seeking an Events Manager (part-time)!
What You’ll Do:
- Create and maintain event line-item budgets
- Create logistics/travel info for event attendees and assist with event staff training
- Create and enforce event timelines and deliverable task lists
- Assist with swag and collateral development and place orders
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and event partners
- Support design process for sponsor booths and place show orders as needed.
- Set up lead scanner qualification surveys and prep lead submission tickets
- Coordinate shipment of collateral (pop-up banners, tablecloths, leftover swag, etc.) as needed
The Right Fit:
- 2-3+ years of proven experience in event management, preferably within the tech, SaaS, or cloud industry.
- Demonstrable success in managing event budgets from creation through reconciliation, with a keen eye for cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining effective external relationships.
- Familiar with or comfortable learning platforms including Google Docs/Sheets, Smartsheet, Hubspot, and event-specific exhibitor portals and lead collection platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging with and delivering information to both internal and external stakeholders across various teams and workflows.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience specifically with tradeshows, exhibitor booths, etc.
- Proven project management skills

Hourly Rate: $40-$50 USD per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week, with a 6 month duration.
