About the Role

We are seeking a Manager of Revenue Accounting to own and lead the end-to-end revenue accounting function. This person will be a key partner to cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Legal, Product, and Engineering and will be instrumental in ensuring revenue recognition policies and operations scale effectively with the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead revenue accounting operations, including daily invoice/order approval, monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, revenue reporting, reconciliations, revenue memo drafting, and audit support.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP for all revenue streams (subscription, consumption-based billing, and other business models).
  • Establish and maintain scalable revenue processes and controls to support rapid growth and operational efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Product to evaluate complex customer arrangements and identify the accounting treatment.
  • Support SEC reporting and SOX compliance, including preparation of revenue-related disclosures and control documentation.
  • Own system and process improvements, including working closely with Engineering and IT to implement enhancements in ERP and billing platforms (experience with NetSuite is a plus).
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and documentation for new product offerings, pricing changes, or contractual structures.
  • Mentor and manage revenue accounting staff, ensuring alignment with business priorities and individual development goals.

The Right Fit

  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Public accounting experience required; Big 4 preferred.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition practices for SaaS and consumption-based business models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP and billing systems; NetSuite and Salesforce experience a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, coupled with a proactive and strategic mindset.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and practical experience with SQL are highly valued and will significantly contribute to success in this role
