We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Stockholm team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about building sleek, powerful interfaces—and who’s ready to take technical ownership in a collaborative, product-driven environment.

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing scalable, high-performance interfaces across Backlight’s products. You’ll work with a modern React stack and contribute to everything from architectural decisions and feature planning to code reviews and mentorship to junior developers. Furthermore you’ll work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

• Build and maintain elegant, fast, and accessible frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and related technologies
• Drive technical decisions around frontend architecture, tooling, and best practices
• Lead code reviews and uphold high standards in code quality, testing, and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  
• Solid understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand)
• Skilled in CSS and building clean, reusable components
• Comfortable with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows
• Background in SaaS product development and a proactive mindset
• Interest in mobile development (React Native)
