Earn $28–$33/hr. + Spiffs + Commission

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays | Overtime Opportunities During Peak Seasons

Ballard Natural Gas Services is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and mechanically inclined Duct Cleaning Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in delivering quality service, and wants to be part of a company that values professionalism, safety, and customer experience.

This is not an entry-level labor position — we are looking for someone who can work independently, safely operate large equipment and box trucks, and represent our company professionally in customers’ homes and job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential and light commercial air duct cleaning services
  • Safely operate large box trucks and vacuum equipment
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain duct systems and related equipment
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Complete jobs efficiently while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Confident and experienced operating large box trucks
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical systems or vacuum systems is a plus
  • 2+ years of hands-on mechanical, vacuum system, duct cleaning, or related field experience preferred
  • Familiarity with vacuum measurement tools, gauges, and leak detection techniques is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, tight spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
