As a Financial Analyst on BambooHR’s brand new Marketing FP&A team, you will provide the key insights and data that enable marketing leaders to make sound decisions.
Together with our Manager of Marketing FP&A, you’ll have the unique opportunity to help define financial structures and processes for the marketing division. Your role as a Financial Analyst will involve a wide variety of daily activities, including helping with expenditure and headcount planning, building financial models, designing operational and financial reports and dashboards, tracking and monitoring KPIs, and performing rolling forecasts, trend analysis, and predictive analytics.
Specifically, in your day-to-day work you will:

- Build financial models, run scenario analysis, and provide data analytics to identify areas of risk and opportunity for the marketing team
- Assist in preparing marketing division monthly forecasts and running variance analysis
- Review day-to-day marketing transactions (including streamlining and automating spend reconciliation processes) and assist accounting team with month-end close
- Leverage data to tell a story and present it through data visualizations in compelling dashboards and reports to aid in decision making.

- Business Acumen: You have a strong understanding of general business operations and the ability to model those areas, while inserting the data and intelligence to make them better.
