Essential Job Duties

We're seeking a People Operations Specialist III at BambooHR, who will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding dynamic Learning and Development initiatives. You will be a creative support in designing and facilitating engaging, impactful, and innovative learning experiences that empower our employees and drive both leadership and professional growth. In this role, you'll also oversee our Learning Management program (LMS) and help deliver an outstanding New Hire Orientation, Bamboo Beginnings, ensuring every team member has a strong start and continues to thrive.

You will:

Learning Design and Development:

Design, develop and update learning materials, resources, and training to address identified learning needs and objectives.
Create engaging and interactive learning experiences, including on demand, virtual and in person instructor-led training, video, and other learning modalities.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance and alignment with best practices and industry standards.

Training Facilitation and Delivery:

Facilitate training sessions, ensuring effective delivery of content and engagement of participants.
Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to enhance learning retention and knowledge transfer.
Deliver outstanding New Hire Orientation experiences that set team members up for success.

Learning Management and Technology:

Manage learning management systems and other training platforms to deliver, track and report on training activities and outcomes.
Leverage technology to create innovative and scalable learning solutions.

Assessment and Continuous Improvement:

Monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Design and implement assessments to measure training effectiveness and learning outcomes.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
3+ years of related work experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and facilitation.
Experience delivering new hire orientation or other live facilitated training experiences.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to design engaging and innovative learning experiences.
