Utah | Hybrid

AI at BambooHR

At BambooHR, we’re all about setting people free to do great work, and we believe AI is a powerful partner in that mission. We’re leaning into intelligent tools to streamline our workflows, giving us more time for high-impact innovation. We look for curious, forward-thinking people who are ready to explore how AI can elevate their work and help us reimagine the future of HR.

Essential Job Duties

This role sits at the center of BambooHR’s Training and Learning Management strategy within our HRIS product management team. You will own the product strategy and execution for experiences that help customers assign, automate, track, and report on employee learning across compliance training, onboarding, and ongoing development.

You’ll build for multiple user groups: HR and People Ops teams who need simple administration and strong reporting, managers who need visibility into progress and readiness, and employees who need a clear, intuitive learning experience that fits naturally into their work.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product Design, Data, Customer Experience, Product Marketing, and adjacent BambooHR product teams to ensure learning experiences are deeply connected to core HRIS workflows and employee data. This is a high-autonomy role on a collaborative team for a PM who enjoys solving complex workflow problems and turning them into elegant, scalable product experiences.

You will:

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Training and Learning Management within BambooHR.
  • Build intuitive admin workflows for creating training programs, assigning learning, automating enrollment, setting due dates, and managing recurring or role-based training.
  • Create learner experiences that make training easy to find, complete, and track employee development and learning.
  • Connect learning workflows to core HRIS data and lifecycle moments, including employee records, job changes, manager relationships, onboarding, and other people workflows.
  • Strengthen reporting and compliance foundations by improving visibility into assignments, completions, overdue training, certifications, and audit trails.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product Design to turn customer needs into clear requirements, prioritize tradeoffs, and deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Use data, research, and experimentation to improve product adoption, completion rates, administrative efficiency, and customer value.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to reduce administrative effort, improve insights, and create more relevant learning experiences where it adds real value.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Alignment with BambooHR values - read up on them and let us know your favorite.
  • 3+ years of PM experience: Ideally in B2B SaaS, HR tech, learning management, talent products, or other workflow-heavy software.
  • Domain fluency in learning, HR, workforce, or other operational workflows: You understand customer problems around onboarding, compliance, employee development, role-based learning, or operational tracking.
  • Experience balancing admin and end-user experiences: You can build powerful configuration and reporting tools for admins while also creating intuitive employee experiences.
  • Strong product craft in systems-rich environments: You’re comfortable with permissions, automation, lifecycle workflows, reporting, and integrations.
  • AI as a practical tool: You use AI to accelerate your own work and think thoughtfully about where AI can create better product experiences.
  • Analytical and customer-centered: You use data, research, and experimentation to prioritize opportunities and measure outcomes.
  • Entrepreneurial drive: You create clarity, move through ambiguity, and lead well across functions.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You

  • You are building with AI coding agents and love exploring the future of building great software.
  • You’ve built products in HR tech.
  • You’ve worked on configuration-heavy B2B workflows with multiple personas and strong reporting needs.
  • You’ve shipped products that connect operational data to action, such as assignments, reminders, due dates, approvals, or status tracking.
  • You’ve worked with HR admins, managers, and employees as primary users and understand their competing needs.
  • You’ve improved reporting, compliance visibility, or audit-readiness experiences.
  • You’ve explored AI-assisted recommendations, summaries, or automation in a practical customer-facing product.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
