Procurement Specialist - Contractor
Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
Essential Job Duties
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in paving the path forward for organizational success. Your role will primarily consist of identifying key suppliers, verifying our purchasing agreements and ensuring that all the appropriate documentation and requirements align to our stringent quality standards. The significance and influence of your role will further extend to managing supplier records and the timely delivery of products while strictly complying with contracts. Alongside, regular reporting on procurement performance will contribute to the better understanding and enhancement of our operations.
You will:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Review and verify accuracy and completeness of internal procurement requests.
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement to continuously improve processes and strategies.
- Work with management to develop and implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
