What We Are Looking For:

The KYC/LEA Specialist works under the supervision of the Director of Product Compliance to provide KYC validation on Bandwidth Turkey’s End Customers in accordance with LAR and KYC requirements. This position is also responsible for creating training documentation, implementing and executing new policies and processes, and providing support to Turkish authorities and law enforcement when inquiries from them arrive. The KYC/LEA Specialist will work as the Bandwidth Turkey liaison between internal teams and Turkish LEA.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure that any and all inquiries from Turkish law enforcement authorities (LEAs) are addressed and responded to in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that SLAs as per response time are met in Turkey and other markets by performing their tasks in a timely manner and to acceptable standards.
  • Ensure Compliance with regulations and attainment of client specific processing requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring KYC checks and completing Enhanced Due Diligence by critically evaluating End User details and information provided by Customers
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from various Regulators, internal teams, support teams and end users, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and create handbooks/guides for their team to follow.
  • Verifying, tracking and reporting on Reseller Notification Status.
  • Performs testing to ensure new solutions/systems enhancements are adequately tested to minimize material impacts Bandwidth’s customer experience and Compliance needs. Compose and perform user acceptance tests based on business requirements and cutover plans when needed. (Regulation templates and End User data gathering).
  • Act as a liaison between the Regulatory Operations and Regulatory/Legal teams and the LEA when needed.
  • Reinstate disconnected services once Customer compliance has been adequately attained.

What You Need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of KYC/AML
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
  • Intermediate-level understanding of the Operational and Technical aspects of VoIP, numbers, and messaging
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite products, particularly excel, specifically with extracting, formatting, validating and analyzing complex data sets
  • Must speak/write native Turkish as well as fluent English

Bonus Points:

  • 2-4 years analytical experience
  • Previous Telecom experience a plus
  • Salesforce, Netsuite or Zendesk experience
