What We Are Looking For:
The Enterprise Solutions Engineer is a senior-level role within the Solutions Engineering team, focused on the Enterprise market segment. This role involves leading deep technical discussions with prospects, customers, internal Bandwidth teams, and third-party vendors to design and deliver exceptional, world-class solutions. The SEIII acts as a subject matter expert, providing critical guidance and support throughout the sales process.

What You'll Do:
- Provide technical pre-sales and retention support to Enterprise sales teams, aimed at achieving assigned sales and run-rate targets.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Development teams to architect and deliver solutions tailored to target customer segments.
- Apply deep expertise in contact center technologies and ISV platforms enabling complex workflows to assist customers in adopting cloud-based services.
- Build trust and influence customer buying decisions through technical knowledge and consultative selling skills. This includes leading technical meetings and application demonstrations.
- Align Bandwidth’s products and services with customer technical and business goals to develop commercially viable solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to contact centers, AI, and communications.
- Guide development priorities that expand integrations with ecosystem partners, enabling comprehensive customer business workflows.
- Support partner development efforts including training, technical integration, and co-selling strategies.
- Draft statements of work (SOWs) that clearly define transformation programs, instill customer confidence, and serve as the foundation for consulting engagements.
- Identify and qualify new sales pipeline opportunities while tracking associated revenue to support forecasts and business plans.
- Experience working with complex Fortune 200 environments using combinations of on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in telecom engineering, pre-sales engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Proven experience working with Global Service Providers and leading enterprise contact center technology implementations.
- Working knowledge of APIs/SDKs.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize customer workflows with contact center technologies.
- Deep understanding of SIP voice interconnection architecture and protocols, especially related to on-premises SBCs, CCaaS, and UCaaS platforms.

- Common platforms: Avaya, Cisco SBCs (on-prem), Genesys Cloud CX (CCaaS), Microsoft Teams (Operator Connect & Direct Routing), Cisco WebEx (UCaaS and CCaaS)
- Strong VoIP and telecom fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Bandwidth and ecosystem partner products and integrations.
- Expertise in Artificial Intelligence, CCaaS, SIP Trunking, and UCaaS technologies.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and API design principles.
- Ability to apply IT systems knowledge to design customer-centric solutions.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with additional CCaaS/UCaaS platforms such as Zoom Phone/Contact Center, Five9, Google CCAIA, AWS Connect, NICE, Verint.
- Familiarity with international voice networks and 911/emergency services.
- Knowledge of voice authentication solutions (e.g., Pindrop), industry knowledge of name display, call branding.
- Hands-on experience with AI BOT development and MMS/SMS messaging.
- Experience with Conversational AI, Bots
- Strong understanding of APIs and integration techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Project management skills and relevant industry certifications.
