AI Graphic Design Intern - Summer 2026

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a versatile and tech-savvy AI Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team for Summer 2026. In this role, you will bridge the gap between traditional design craft and emerging AI technologies. You will assist in producing high-quality visual assets for digital, social, and print platforms, utilizing both the Adobe Creative Suite and Generative AI tools to accelerate workflows and push creative boundaries.

What You'll Do:

• Hybrid Asset Creation: Design engaging visuals for social media, email, and web using a mix of traditional graphic design and AI-generated imagery.
• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Use tools like Adobe Firefly and Eleven Labs to rapidly prototype concepts, generate mood boards, and create custom stock assets.
• Refinement & Polishing: Take raw AI outputs and professionally "finish" them using Photoshop (Generative Fill, retouching) and Illustrator to ensure they meet brand standards.
• Brand Consistency: Apply established brand guidelines across all projects, ensuring that even AI-generated content feels cohesive and intentional.
• Digital & Print Support: Assist in the layout of internal digital promotions and traditional print collateral (flyers, signage, etc.).
• Collaborative Innovation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and help the team stay updated on the latest AI design plugins and automation techniques.

What You Need:

• Education: Currently pursuing a  bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Core Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• AI Toolset: Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms and an understanding of effective prompt engineering.
• Design Fundamentals: A solid grasp of typography, color theory, composition, and grid systems.
• Adaptability: A "hacker" mindset with the ability to learn new software and AI features as they are released.
• Attention to Detail: A critical eye for quality, specifically the ability to spot and fix common AI artifacts (anatomy, lighting, or text errors).

Application Requirements

• Portfolio: A link to an online portfolio showcasing your design work. We are specifically interested in seeing your process—how you’ve integrated AI into a project from initial prompt to final, polished design.

Bonus Points:

• Basic motion graphics or video editing skills (After Effects or Premiere Pro).
• Familiarity with the ethical and copyright considerations of AI-generated art.
