Payroll Specialist - UK

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations for our employees across Europe (United Kingdom) and ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international payroll processing, particularly in these regions, and demonstrate proficiency in Dayforce and NetSuite. Experience in global payroll environments and working as part of a cross-border HR team is essential. This role will be based in our Centre of Excellence location in Karachi, Pakistan.
Key Responsibilities:
● Accurately process monthly and bi-weekly payroll for employees in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and other European countries, ensuring full compliance with local payroll regulations.
● Manage payroll systems using Dayforce and NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date information for employees across Europe and ANZ regions.
● Accurately enter and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, changes in pay rates, bonuses, and other compensation adjustments.
● Generate and provide payroll reports to relevant stakeholders, ensuring payroll data is precise and addressing discrepancies as needed.
● Stay informed about changes in European and ANZ payroll regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate any associated risks.
● Collaborate with the global HR and finance teams to ensure payroll integration aligns with organizational standards and regional requirements.
● Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees, ensuring timely and accurate support, especially regarding compensation, tax issues, and benefits.
● Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for each region, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
Requirements:
● Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, particularly within European and ANZ regions, with a strong understanding of local payroll requirements and compliance.
● Proficient in Dayforce and NetSuite. Strong proficiency in G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.) is essential.
● Experience working with international payroll processes and regulations, particularly in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
● Demonstrate high accuracy and attention to detail in payroll processing and reporting.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees across multiple countries and regions.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle confidential payroll data with discretion.
● Ability to work independently and manage payroll for multiple countries in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
