ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to own full-cycle accounting operations end-to-end. This is not a support role — it is an ownership role. You will run the month-end close, maintain balance sheet integrity, and operate within a high-growth, acquisition-driven environment where accuracy, speed, and initiative matter equally.

Banyan Software company encourages applications from all qualified individuals. Applicants with disabilities may notify us of any accommodations needed to support your participation in the recruitment process. We wish to thank all applicants for their interest and effort in applying.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong candidates will meet at least 4–6 of the following. The first four are non-negotiable.

  • End-to-End Month-End Ownership — Independently run the full close across multiple entities: AR/AP, accruals, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations. Minimal oversight. Full accountability.
  • Revenue Recognition & Deferred Revenue — Hands-on experience with SaaS/recurring revenue models, deferred revenue waterfalls, and contract treatment under ASC 606 or IFRS 15.
  • Balance Sheet Integrity & Reconciliation Rigor — Proven track record of maintaining audit-ready balance sheets across all key accounts. Clean books. Every period.
  • ERP Experience — NetSuite strongly preferred. Practical experience with reporting, workflows, and system optimization. Equivalent ERP experience considered.
  • Process Improvement & Controls Orientation — Evidence of tightening controls, improving SOPs, and driving efficiency in close cycles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency — Financial modelling, complex budgeting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Index Match. You build the models; you don't just read them.
  • AI in Finance Workflows — Demonstrated curiosity or active use of AI tools to improve finance operations. Early adopters strongly preferred.

WHAT WE EXPECT — NON-NEGOTIABLE

All three are required. No exceptions.

  • Growth Mindset & Team Orientation — You seek feedback, take ownership beyond your scope, and operate with low ego and high accountability. You make the team better.
  • Strong Communication — You write and speak clearly. You simplify complexity for non-finance stakeholders. You escalate the right issues at the right time.
  • Leadership Trajectory — You mentor juniors, own processes, and influence outcomes. You are building toward portfolio-level leadership — and it shows.

Candidates who meet 4+ technical criteria and all 3 qualitative criteria will be prioritised & contacted.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
