Job: Financial Analyst
Job Profile:
As a Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of accounting and financial operations across assigned operating companies. You will manage general ledger (GL) activities, oversee accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR) processes, and ensure financial reporting is prepared in accordance with US GAAP.
In addition, you will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide insights that drive business decisions. This role offers exposure to M&A integration activities and provides opportunities to contribute to process optimization through automation and AI-driven tools in a dynamic, global environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own and execute month-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage general ledger (GL), accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support adoption of AI-driven solutions for reporting and financial analysis.
- Review and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across assigned entities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit processes.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders.
- Actively support integration of newly acquired operating companies, including financial reporting and process transition.
- Assist in acquisition accounting, including PPA and NTA schedules.
- Develop and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Build relationships with stakeholders across operating companies.
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, including US GAAP.
- Experience managing GL, AP, AR, and month-end close processes.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
