Business Development Manager – Reseller Partnerships & Education 

Location: Remote (U.S.-based) 

Reports to: CEO 

Travel Requirement: Approximately 25% (for trade shows, reseller events, and key meetings) 

 Position Summary

 CFS Solutions is seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and education of our reseller partner network. This role is critical to driving growth by initiating relationships with new partners, coordinating training sessions around new product releases, and serving as the lead educator on the value and functionality of CFS’s back office software solutions for deposit automation. 

You will collaborate closely with our Marketing Operations Manager to organize impactful trade show appearances and curated reseller events. As a key member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO, you will also take ownership of negotiating high-level partnership agreements, developing a deep understanding of our pricing model, and driving revenue growth through partner enablement and support. 

This is a remote position with approximately 25% travel required for trade shows, client meetings, and strategic partner events. 

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Engagement & Education

  •  Identify and engage prospective reseller partners to grow the CFS network
  • Lead onboarding and training sessions for new partners focused on: 
    •  Product releases
    •  CFS value propositions 
    •  Sales tools and positioning
  • Conduct ongoing webinars and educational sessions tailored to partner teams and their prospective customers.
  •  Exhibit a thorough understanding of CFS pricing structures and customer needs to guide partner strategy.

Trade Shows & Reseller Events 

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Operations Manager to: 
    •  Plan and attend relevant industry trade shows 
    • Host educational events for reseller training and engagement 
    •  Ensure consistent brand messaging at all external events

Sales Strategy & Deal Negotiation 

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle for onboarding new reseller partners. 
  •  Negotiate high-value deals and partner agreements. 
  •  Align with internal departments (product, support, marketing) to ensure partner success and scalable growth. 

Product & Software Training 

  • Act as an educator and evangelist for CFS’s back office software for deposit automation. 
  • Deliver detailed, actionable training that empowers reseller partners. 
  • Stay current on new features, updates, and roadmaps.

  • You are motivated by measurable results like recurring revenue growth, churn reduction, and margin expansion. 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Channel Partnerships (software/fintech preferred) 
  • Proven track record of closing strategic deals and managing partner relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills 
  • Experience delivering webinars, live product demos, and educational sessions 
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual collaboration tools 
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
