Barbaricum is currently seeking a proficient Financial Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in support of the Program Executive Office Soldier, focusing on the engineering, building, testing, and deployment of innovative cloud service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers and stakeholders to understand their objectives, goals, and challenges for cloud utilization.
- Develop strategy that includes cloud solutions, services, and product offerings to achieve cloud utilization objectives.
- Create effective business and technical cloud strategies that drive growth and execution.
- Analyzes and forecasts cloud costs to help the government plan and budget their IT expenses.
- Monitors cloud resource usage, identifies unused or underutilized resources, and suggests improvements for cost efficiency.
- Collaborates with different teams, including developers and management, to optimize cloud infrastructure and reduce costs.
- Monitors and analyzes cloud-related expenses to spot trends, identify savings opportunities, and forecast future spend.
- Collaborates with various teams, such as IT, finance, and operations, to understand their cloud usage and how it impacts the overall budget.
Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of business models across multiple Cloud Service Providers.
