Barbaricum is seeking a mission-focused Logistician to provide full-spectrum logistics and property accountability support to the Program Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS). This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational readiness across a global mission set—supporting the management, movement, documentation, and accountability of mission-essential equipment and assets.
This is a hands-on logistics position for a detail-oriented professional who understands the intricacies of military supply systems, values accuracy, and thrives in dynamic operational environments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records for Class II, VII, and IX equipment using DPAS, ELMS, and Excel.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories.
- Issue and manage hand receipts (DA 2062) and equipment transfer documentation.
- Prepare DA 3161 and 2062 forms for fielding and transfers.
- Review and verify unit-level documentation for compliance and accuracy.
- Support global equipment issue and direct exchange (DX) coordination.
- Track FVUA forms and collaborate with Fort Leonard Wood LRC for shipping logistics.
- Coordinate CONUS and OCONUS shipments using both military and civilian channels.
- Certify and manage HAZMAT shipments (AMMO-62).
- Use Tracker Lite and FedEx GovRate systems to generate DD1149s and shipping labels.
- Provide in-transit visibility (ITV) for all equipment moves.
- Coordinate semi-annual inspections and maintain accurate condition codes in DPAS/ELMS.
- Ensure alignment with PIEE and Government property accountability requirements.
- Manage the demilitarization and disposal of unserviceable or obsolete equipment.
- Lead HAZMAT compliance and disposal efforts in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Remain available to deploy worldwide in support of operational and fielding requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance (TS eligible preferred).
- Qualified in Army MOS 920A/B, 92A/Y, 68J, or equivalent joint service logistics specialty.
- Experience with military property systems such as DPAS, GCSS-Army, ELMS, and PIEE.
- Certified or certifiable in AMMO-62 HAZMAT handling (course 9E-F58/322-F37).
- Experience coordinating global shipments using military and commercial transportation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to manage parallel logistical requirements.
