About the Role

Assist with the month-end close and firm financial reporting, including regulatory filings, year-end audit and preparation of the financial statements. Maintain compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). Review new proposals for prospective clients and marketing materials for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the month-end close process including bank reconciliations and accruals and the preparation of monthly financial statement reporting and cash flow for management.
  • Liase with outside auditors and assist in providing all documents for the year-end audits for our private funds, firm, 401k and GIPS audits.
  • Prepare firm year-end audited individual and consolidated financial statements for all entities.
  • Assist with the monthly investment and separately managed account reconciliation process and quarterly statement reporting.
  • Assist with monthly GIPS strategy performance reporting and review and analyze monthly account dispersion.
  • Assist with quarterly regulatory FINRA focus filings.
  • Assist with board reporting and income statement variance analysis.
  • Review new proposals for prospective clients and marketing materials for clients.
  • Review all expenses paid to vendors.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA a plus but not required
  • 7-10 years of public/private accounting experience in the financial services industry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting rules and practices
  • Knowledge of various investment vehicle types and their related accounting treatments
  • Knowledge of FINRA regulatory filings and compliance standards related to GIPS
  • Proficient with Microsoft excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize several different tasks
  • Possess excellent organizational, planning and overall time management skills
  • Effective written communication required

The base salary range for this position is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. It is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. It also participates in the Firm's 401(k) and Profit-Sharing Plan. Pay Transparency

$125,000 - $140,000 USD
