As the founding business development representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, tasked with qualifying leads and creating opportunities for the sales team to close deals. - 1+ years of experience in finance, fintech, consulting or venture capital
- Problem-solver who navigates the unknown confidently
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
- Proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic settings.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities through both inbound qualification and outbound outreach.
- Qualify leads using a consultative approach to uncover pain points and match them with Baselayer’s solutions.
- Expand the sales pipeline by executing both warm and cold outbound campaigns.
- Conduct research to identify potential clients and add them to the outreach list.
- Work directly with CEO and co-founders to scale business

Salary Range:
$55k - $95k, Plus Commission | Equity - 0.05% – 0.25%
