Hardware Lab Manager

Responsibilities:
- Operate a power electronics and battery lab by
- Keeping material stocked, tools organized and maintained, workspaces clean
- Implement rules and regulations to keep the lab safe and productive
- Run experiments defined by engineers
- Make prototype parts given instructions from engineers
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in a senior lab technician or lab manager role
- Strong tendency to clean, organize, and discard old material from an engineering lab setting
- Comfortable working knowledge of electricity
- Strong get-it-done fabrication skills - i.e. build a power supply rack, hang a shelf, wire up a thermal chamber
- Comfortable running tests on high voltage (240 V AC, 600 V DC) and power electronics using software control and data logging
- Experience writing test reports and conducting experiments
- HS Diploma or equivalent
