
Product and Content Marketer
Our mission at Base is to fix the power grid and enable affordable and reliable electricity for all. To do that, we are building America’s Next-Generation Power Company; the first engineering-led, technology-focused, R&D-driven electricity company. We are a team of tenacious engineers, operators, and creatives who have solved hard problems and are here to do it again.
Our marketing team combines creative, customer-focused strategies with data-driven precision to reach the right customers at the right time, building awareness, and engaging our audience. We’re looking for a talented product and content marketer to join us and help shape the future of our brand.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product marketing strategy: test, learn, and adjust to find the right message across products, audiences, and channels.
- Build a strong content marketing function, including SEO content, sales tools, and lifecycle materials.
- Be the voice of our members—build a network of customers and future audiences to better understand their needs and goals.
- Develop and launch an effective field and event marketing functions.
- Closely collaborate with sales, customer success, and product teams to align messaging and strategy.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a product marketing or content marketing role.
- Previous experience working at an early-stage startup or similar environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and excel in unstructured environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Familiarity with basic marketing tools (e.g., Hubspot, Figma, or similar) and basic data analysis tools (e.g. Excel).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with field marketing, paid marketing, and/or brand marketing.
- Strong marketing intuition.
- A passion for storytelling and building brands.
- Analytical mindset with an eye for data-driven improvements.
